1 – Stress-Free
Wedding planning is known for being the 7th most stressful life event, wow! How can you actually make the day stress free?
Have you ever considered how much communicating occurs during the wedding planning process, between friends, family, vendors suppliers, just to name a few. A wedding planner is professional at dealing with all situations and will be able to communicate between everyone to ensure that every single person has the right information that they need, rather than you having to worry about these types of details. They are able to make the process streamlined and will reduce those stress levels to make the process enjoyable.
2 – Vendor Discount and Negotiating Deal with Suppliers
Every wedding planner has their very own recommended suppliers list, of whom they work with week by week on different weddings. They are trusted suppliers and will get the job completed well. It is important that you can trust the suppliers and know that they are the best in the business.
3 – Time
As stated before, Wedding Planning can take on average between 200-250 hours to plan, which is equivalent to a full-time job, do you have this spare time? How will you fit all of the meetings, appointments, etc in whilst working full time and living your normal life? You can hand over the responsibilities to a professional who is willing to support your every need and is able to spend time planning your big day. Wedding Planning is a huge commitment.
4 – Budget Management
Setting a budget is the first thing you should do, research local suppliers to give yourself an idea of how much to budget for each section, it gives you the chance to work out how much you are going to be spending and how much you need to put into the wedding fund. A wedding planner has their own spreadsheets, full of ways to manage your budget from day one through to the big day, knowing when payments are upcoming and how much is due.
Most wedding planners will be able to remind you when your upcoming payments are however you will be expected to pay your suppliers directly.
5 – Know the Best Suppliers in the Industry
It is a high possibility that your planner will know suppliers on a personal level through working with them on shoots, weddings and even through networking groups, which shows that they are trustworthy. We only want the best for your big day. Wedding Planners are natural networkers and will be able to communicate well with these suppliers, bringing the best out of each and every supplier.
6 – Schedules
On the day of your wedding, the last thing you want to be doing is chatting to suppliers and making sure that they are doing everything correctly. Your wedding planner will have schedules running up to the big day of payments, meetings etc and the on the big day they will have created an on the day management schedule which all the vendors and suppliers will receive. Your day will be run smoothly.
Your planner will work through timelines running up and on the day, managing everything from the invitations to any wedding administration needed to be completed. You will most likely not find someone more organised than a wedding planner.
7 – Love Lists
Lists ranging from budget management to timelines through to guests lists…
A wedding planner will organise your day every last detail, it is just part of our nature.
8 – Creativity
After creating your vision board on Pinterest or even Instagram, your wedding planner will be able to bring the beautiful ideas to life through your inspiration. They will be able to match you to the right suppliers and bring inspiration together to create your perfect day.
